Tucked in a 100 acre land, Kalundewa Retreat has been described as a ‘’paradise for nature lovers’’ that’s set up in a ‘’beautiful location’’. In terms of accommodation guests note that the ‘’chalets are built either over the lake or in the paddy’’ field. The surrounding of the property has been further stated with comments like ‘’beautiful, natural and peaceful’’ which is great for ‘’walks and bicycle rides’’. Service rendered at the property was mentioned to be ‘’impeccable’’ from the moment of arrival with the staff being ‘’helpful and committed, especially the Chef and the waiters’’. Cuisine offered at the hotel was said to be ‘’excellent’’ with the ‘’real taste of the Sri Lankan food’’ that’s made out of ‘’tasty, yummy and excellent organic products’’.
