The previous patrons of Earl’s Regency Hotel have stated that this ‘’lovely hotel in the hills outside Kandy’’ is a ‘’beautiful’’, ‘’elegant’’ and an ‘’excellent’’ hotel with ‘’magnificent’’ views. Guests say that the rooms were ‘’amazing’’, ‘’comfortable’’ and ‘’spacious’’ with ‘’decor’’. The property which is situated on the outskirts of Kandy has been described to be a ‘’good value for money’’ and suitable if you are looking forward to spending a ‘’relaxing’’ holiday. According to former visitors ‘’dining at Earl’s Regency’’ has been an ‘’amazing’’ experience as they offer ‘’ tasty’’ and ‘’delicious food all the time’’. The staff at the hotel were said to be ‘’fantastic’’, ‘’helpful’’ and ‘’nice’’ when providing service. This ‘’great hotel’’ with ‘’excellent facilities’’ and ‘’lovely’’ views has been recommended as one of the ‘’best place(s) to stay in Kandy’’.

The level of service at the Earl’s Regency has received a mix of both positive and negative comments. The distance from some of the rooms to the location of the reception has been looked down upon. However food and beverage sees good feedback with guests particularly pleased with the themed dinner nights as well as the price. The rooms are said to be very comfortable. The swimming pool at the hotel has been spoken of well throughout most of the reviews. Facilities such as the spa and lounge are commended. By and large the in-room services have not satisfied guests.

The selection of food too bas been at the centre of much praise with the breakfast and dinner buffets receiving most of the good comments. Guests were of the view that the internet facility within the rooms needed upgrading. Most of the reviews spoke of guests being happy with the service at the hotel.
