The location of Oaks Rivermarque was most favoured by guests who chose to stay here. The location was said to be “great”, and “excellent” as it was “in the centre”, within “easy walking distance to restaurants” and the “waterpark ,CBD and main shopping centre” being “close”. The staff were praised for being “always very well presented”, “friendly but also more willing to accommodate wherever possible”, “helpful” and “very charming”. Rooms at the property were said to be “very clean and tidy” with a “beaut view” of the lake. The bathrooms were of a “good size” and had a “large walk in shower”. The bed was described as being “comfortable” and “huge”. Guests commented that the gym and pool were “well looked after” and “very easy to get to and great to use”.
Oaks has been described by past guests to be situated in “a great location”, close to a major shopping centre and the river, and within “walking distance to a lot of amenities”. The rooms have been described to have been “clean and comfortable”, and the staff was found to have been “friendly” and “helpful”. Guests have mentioned that Oaks Rivermarque offered room service. Breakfast has been mentioned as having been good, getting an early start has been recommended, as things get quite busy in the mornings, partly due to a lack of wait staff.
