According to previous guests, Ascott Macau is an ‘’excellent’’ ‘’serviced apartment’’ which is a ‘’perfect place for (a) traveller with young kids’’. In regard to the accommodation facilities, guests say that the apartments were ‘’fantastic’’ with ‘’spacious rooms’’, ‘’nice amenities’’ and ‘’upgrade to executive suite’’. Guests say that the staff at Ascott Macau were ‘’kind’’, ‘’friendly’’, ‘’ helpful’’ and ‘’ very good at speaking English’’. According to guests the service provided at the property was ‘’convenient’’ and ‘’make you feel like you are at home’’. Food at the apartment is said to be ‘’great’’ with several guests commenting that the ‘’breakfast’’ could be ‘’improved’’. Meanwhile ‘’ a good selection of restaurants’’ have been found ‘’just around the corner’’. Overall, this property has been labelled as a ‘’simply gorgeous’’ ‘’residential building’’ for a stay in Macau!

Mixed reviews have been received with respect to some of the features of the rooms at Ascott Macau. While its spaciousness has been complimented, the hygiene levels have drawn considerable criticism from a few residents. Most guests say that the property provided everything that was required. The location is said to be a bit far out from downtown though some comments that guests have enjoyed the walk from the property to Senado Square. The lobby, gym, pool and restaurant are seen as areas where guests have been satisfied with. Breakfast is mentioned as “acceptable.” Customer service is pointed out for being “excellent” and “courteous.” Overall guests feel that the facility exceeded their expectations and in turn contributed towards a memorable stay in Macau.

Facilities relating to the kitchen and microwave were found to have satisfied a majority of residents at the Ascott Macau. The lack of room service is seen as one of the drawbacks of staying here. Rooms are said to be well laid out and spacious. The fresh fruit provided at breakfast is considered a positive while guests have enjoyed their time both in the outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Some say that the price is too high for accommodation. Check-ins have been categorized as “taking too long.” The ambiance of the property is spoken of well. Phrases such as “respectful” and “friendly” are used to describe the staff service. Overall guests are of the view that they would return to the property in the future since the experience was exceptional and memorable.

The homely environment of Ascott Macau has been appreciated by a majority of its residents who have stayed here recently. Accommodation has been highlighted as being spacious and comfortable and in particular the Executive Suite sees positive comments. The in-room facilities and amenities have been commended while the property’s central location has been looked at favourably. Most guests have been extremely pleased with how they were treated by the staff while some reviews reveal that hotel staff always did their best to provide a good service. The cleanliness of the property is spoken of throughout. However guests were critical of the fact that the hotel did not offer free parking.

Those who have chosen Ascott Macau for accommodation have stated that the facility, in comparison to the rest of the city’s hotels, was a refreshing experience as it was devoid of a casino and thus presented a laid back atmosphere instead of a "flashy casino style”. Guests say that they thought the hotel was well located in the heart of the city as it was situated opposite main casinos like MGM and Wynn and 20-30 minutes’ walk to Senado Square. Units are mentioned as being spacious, stylish, comfortable and well furnished with comfortable beds, great shower facilities and a kitchenette. A few have remarked that the rooms can be cleaner and that the apartments were prone to smell due to the smoke from the open kitchen. The pool is stated as being ‘really nice’. Breakfast mentioned as being good but a few parties have said it was in poor condition. The check-in and out is fuss free. The whole service team is said to pay attention to detail; with the front desk team members being very warm and welcoming.
